Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica is one of the most successful classical crossover performers in the world, known for breaking boundaries between musical genres. Today, Maksim is the world’s best-selling crossover pianist. Over 4 million copies of his albums have been sold in 57 countries, with many of them achieving gold and platinum status.
Maksim received his education at the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest and at the Alexandre Scriabin Conservatory in Paris. He had already won first prize at the Croatian National Competition, as well as first prize at the International Rubinstein Piano Competition in France.

After signing a contract with record label EMI, Maksim’s album “Piano Player” sold over 4 million copies. As a result, it received double platinum status in Hong Kong and gold status in Singapore and many other countries.
Maksim held a tour across 20 cities in Japan, which was considered one of the largest tours in international artist history. The tour’s success led to an invitation from the Chopin Society of Warsaw to participate in the celebration of the 200th anniversary of Chopin’s birth.

His collaborations with top brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, Armani, and Christian Dior earned him the title of “Best Dressed Man” by Vogue Homme. His charisma and boundless talent have attracted global brands like American Express, BMW, Samsung, Star Alliance, and Yamaha.

The Grand Return of Croatian Pianist Maksim Mrvica to Tbilisi
In 2024, Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica released his new album titled Segmenti. The album is available on various music platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, and Tidal.
Segmenti includes eight compositions: two covers, three original works, and three interpretations of classical pieces. The album blends classical and contemporary elements, reflecting Mrvica’s signature style.
Following the release of the album, Maksim embarked on a world tour, during which he held a concert in Croatia in November to present his new work.
On April 25, 2025, at the Tbilisi State Concert Hall (Philharmonic), world-renowned Croatian pianist Maksim Mrvica presented his new album Segmenti to the Georgian audience.
As always, his performance was marked by exceptional professionalism and emotional depth, as clearly evidenced by the audience’s enthusiastic reaction.
The evening was truly special — the Georgian audience once again witnessed a magnificent showcase of contemporary classical music. Notably, during the concert, the artist himself emphasized how uniquely warm and special the Georgian audience is to him, which serves as a particularly strong source of inspiration for his creative work.
