From May 27 to June 3, 2025, a delegation from the Georgian Chamber of Culture visited the People’s Republic of China by official invitation. The visit took place within the framework of a joint conference organized by CAFIU — the Chinese Association for International Understanding — and the People’s Government of Gansu Province.
The theme of the event was:
“Carrying Forward the Spirit of the Silk Road — Exchange and Mutual Learning Among Civilizations.”
The conference was opened by Mr. Han Zheng, Vice President of the People’s Republic of China.
The event was attended by over 300 delegates from around the world, including political leaders, scholars, and prominent figures from the global cultural sector.
