On May 3, 2019, in the city of Telavi, Niko Sulkhanishvili Music School, Pavle Demurishvili, Honorary Citizen of Telavi, Conductor, composer, music professor, owner of order of Honor, the star of fame was opened in front of Niko Sulkhanishvili Music School.
Pavle Demurishvili has been the Artistic Director of Telavi Culture House for many years, song and choir teacher at Telavi 8th High School, and Telavi Music School Choir Teacher; Director and teacher of the Telavi Secondary School of Music. The foundation of many folk teams is related to his name. They include: “Kakheti” Folk Choir of the Georgian Music Society, “Kakheti hangebi” telavi musical choir.
